Wow. The Las Vegas Valley has been soaking wet for the past week!

It’s was a nice change, but enough already! haha!

Well there was a slight break in the clouds.  I didn’t have a lot of light left, but I loved the view so I had to pull over and snap a quick shot.

This had to happen…

Before this…could happen.

More to come…keep a look out.

I was so excited when Becca asked me to take her family’s picture. I have known Becca for….psh…years! We use to work together. And when I left one job for another, I eventually lost touch with some of my most favorite people. Becca was of course one of them.

Last time I had seen her was in the middle of a crowd exiting the Mandalay Bay Event Center after a concert. But I was really able to reconnect with her on Facebook. For as much as I have a love/hate relationship with Facebook, I appreciate moments like this when I am able to reconnect with such great friends.

I didn’t tell Geoff or Beckster (I had to include the nickname somewhere, haha) this, but I kinda fell in love with Sean while on our photoshoot. Especially when he started making Rebel basketball moves! hahaha! It was awesome. During most of the pictures the whole family was saying “CHEEEEEESE!” so that Geoff…Sean would smile for me. (hehe) I was very impressed with how neither Mom or Dad looked like they were saying cheese during any of the pictures!

Here are some of the goods!

(How cute is the hand on Dad’s knee! So sweet.)

Aaaand here are some of those basketball moves I was talking about!

Geoff and Rebecca both went to UNLV, so they have to represent! haha!

Do you SEE what I’m talking about?! Sean is so stinkin’ CUTE!

Kyle and Kristi wanted a family picture. This meant not just the two of them, but their kids…their two dogs, Zoie and Mailee.  I don’t know who thought of the idea of Mt. Charleston in the snow, but I also knew that I didn’t have to worry about how I looked since I was behind the camera. So I packed on the layers! hahaha! Poor Kyle and Kristi were a bit cold!

This was the dogs first time in the snow. It was an adventure to say the least. They are already full of energy but one of the treats they love most is ice cubes. So you can only imagine how excited they were once they figure out they could eat the snow. Funny.

As we drove up the mountain this is what we were headed into. It looked cool…cold.

Mt. Charleston

Here are a few shots of the fun.

Sooo, I haven’t fully been paying attention to the fact that Christmas is coming up, and it’s creeping pretty quickly. I keep forgetting that I need to go out and buy some gifts and in some cases actually MAIL them! If I can get away with online shopping without getting kicked in the pants with high shipping rates, I may have found my slacker loop hole!

Wish me shopping-during-the-holidays luck!

Here is a fun little Christmas picture for you via Disneyland (who couldn’t love a Christmas picture from Disneyland! C’mon!)

I hope everyone is having an awesome holiday season. I know I am…probably because I haven’t been shopping. HA!
